Hello! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with an office in San Francisco by Divisadero and California. I have my doctorate in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I am an adjunct professor. I earned my Masters in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, where I am also an adjunct professor; my secondary teaching credential from University of San Francisco, and my bachelors from Sarah Lawrence College.
I began as an intern in 2008 and have been licensed since 2014, specializing in working with complex relational trauma, grief, adolescents and their families, life transitions and aging. My work is direct and gentle, often looking towards the body as a resource from which to draw strength and connections. I believe you and will never rush you to share your story.
I believe that healing comes through connecting with another person, a pet, nature, and oneself. I see myself as a guide and a supporting presence as you begin or continue on your path.
Most significantly, my dog Ella is my co-therapist. If in-person, she will happily sit by you or in her bed during sessions.
